Once I retired I quickly find that without an academic affiliation it was difficult to conduct simple research or publish. As I investigated this problem I ran across the Ronin Institute. It is a diverse collection of men and women who wished to continue research outside of the academic mainstream.
Their mission statement sums it up nicely. “The Ronin Institute is creating a new model for scholarly research that recognizes that the world outside of traditional academia…
I found this notion attractive. I think an affiliation with Ronin Institute will assist me in networking with other like-minded individuals and publish additional works with my colleagues. If I had any doubts they vanished when I noticed the Ronin logo included Vulcan calligraphy proudly stating “Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.” I am proud to be a Ronin Research Scholar and add to that diversity.
