A New Chapter – RIIS 2.0

As I reflect on my journey from the operating room to academia and beyond, I am reminded of the ever-evolving nature of personal and professional growth. Retirement from clinical practice did not signify an end but rather the beginning of new avenues for exploration and contribution. My pursuit of an MBA and subsequent engagement with the Ronin Institute exemplify this ongoing quest for knowledge and impact.

Today, I am honored to announce my appointment as a Fellow of the Ronin Institute for Independent Scholarship (RIIS) 2.0 and as a member of its Interim Governing Council. RIIS 2.0 represents a progressive model for supporting independent researchers and scholars. Its mission aligns seamlessly with my belief in the importance of fostering intellectual inquiry outside traditional institutional frameworks.

Joining the Interim Governing Council offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of RIIS 2.0. In this role, I hope to leverage my diverse experiences to support the institute’s commitment to scholarly excellence and innovation.

This new chapter is not just a personal milestone but also a testament to the possibilities that emerge when one remains open to change and dedicated to lifelong learning. I look forward to collaborating with fellow scholars at RIIS 2.0 and contributing to its mission of advancing independent research.
